Kryptos is comprised of several elements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • The main part is comprised of S-shaped copper panels, approximatively 12′ (3.66m) high and 20′ (6m) long, supported by petrified wood. \n
      \n
    • Panel 1 is engraved with the ciphers (the top half has K1 and K2, the bottom half K3 and K4), while panel 2 bears a Vigenere table with the key “KRYPTOS”.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • In total there are 1732 letters, plus 4 interrogation points, on 56 lines.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • The color is mostly verdigris due to the copper’s oxidation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
